This style of projector has been getting a lot of buzz online lately. This particular one is the second fastest selling projector on Amazon UK right now. It actually occupied the top spot last month. It's fair to say that it is very popular.

I suspect the popularity is to do with good marketing and affordability.

I've been using it for a couple of weeks and made the above review video for it. I have another projector with much higher specs, purchased years ago for much more money, so my expectations are pretty high. Every time I try to criticise a particular feature of this projector, or lack thereof, I remember the price tag and readjust my expectations.

I get why this is popular. It's good enough, versatile and cheap. It's also a lot lighter and more portable than I expected. It's going to be absolutely huge this Christmas because it's the perfect size to wrap up for under the tree, or post to someone via Royal Mail small parcel service. I can see there is a version of this also in the United States and Canada, but I'm not sure of how popular those are over there.
