My Green Supermarket Adventure | Qurator's Photo Quest

Hello everyone! This post is my entry for the Photo Quest #265: Green contest (

), organized by the Qurator team. This week's theme, "Green", inspired me to look for the beauty of this color in an everyday, often overlooked place: the supermarket.

I focused on the fruits and vegetables aisle, a space full of life and vibrant green tones. Although I had my camera with me, I decided to take on the challenge of capturing these images with my mobile phone. The goal was to show that quality photography doesn't always depend on the most sophisticated equipment, but rather on the ability to observe and compose.

The photographs you will see below focus on fresh, organic produce. The predominant green not only represents nature and life but also freshness and health.

Photo 1: Green Peppers in a Row
I was drawn to the uniformity and saturated color of these peppers. Together, they form a visually appealing composition, almost like a work of art arranged on the shelf.

Photo 2: Radiant Lemons
Lemons, though often yellow, show an intense and bright green in their early stages of ripening. Their texture and shape create an interesting play of light and shadow.

Photo 3: Piled Avocados
Avocados, with their dark green color and rough skin, contrast with the lighter tones. Their random arrangement allowed me to play with the depth of field, highlighting the one closest to me.

Mi Aventura Verde en el Supermercado | Photo Quest de Qurator

¡Hola a todos! Este post es mi entrada para el concurso Photo Quest #265: Green, organizado por el equipo de Qurator (

). La temática de esta semana, "Verde", me inspiró a buscar la belleza de este color en un lugar cotidiano y a menudo pasado por alto: el supermercado.

Me concentré en el pasillo de las frutas y verduras, un espacio lleno de vida y vibrantes tonalidades verdes. Aunque tenía mi cámara a mano, decidí aceptar el desafío de capturar estas imágenes con mi teléfono móvil. El objetivo era demostrar que la fotografía de calidad no siempre depende del equipo más sofisticado, sino de la habilidad para observar y componer.

Las fotografías que verán a continuación se centran en productos frescos y orgánicos. El verde predominante no solo representa la naturaleza y la vida, sino también la frescura y la salud.

Fotografía 1: Pimientos verdes en fila
Me atrajo la uniformidad y el color saturado de estos pimientos. Juntos, forman una composición visualmente atractiva, casi como una obra de arte dispuesta en la estantería.

Fotografía 2: Limones radiantes
Aquí los limones, aunque a menudo amarillos, en su etapa de madurez inicial muestran un verde intenso y brillante. Su textura y forma crean un interesante juego de luces y sombras.

Fotografía 3: Aguacates apilados
Los aguacates, con su color verde oscuro y su piel rugosa, contrastan con las tonalidades más claras. Su disposición aleatoria me permitió jugar con la profundidad de campo, destacando el más cercano.
