INLEO, Dash and meme communities becoming frens

In today's edition of the INLEO broadcast titled "
" King Khal, the founder of INLEO, talked about a couple of ways the INLEO community is fostering friendships and creating synergy with other communities that are currently established on other blockchains.Dash
You might have seen the Desert Lynx, Joel Valenzuela of Dash in this year's edition of HiveFest in Split, Croatia. He's actually an OG Hivean from way back before the fork. With thousands of things to worry about in web3, he might have drifted away for a while, but came back! And just like when you come back to your old neighborhood to discover new buildings, shops, parks and sky trams, Joël came back to HIVE to discover the devs being busy bees with all sorts of development, use cases and a vibrant community! Particularly with INLEO, they've come to the conclusion that while INLEO has a good tech stack, it doesn't have the brand recognition that Dash has in the crypto space. Building deeper integration with them makes sense.
Meme coin communities
I must confess, I know almost nothing about meme coins. This week's Chain Chatter with Aguri Chan CTO, Voozle, was completely alien to me, so I had to take notes 😄.
Here's a short recap:
Aguri Chan is a part of the "Kabosumama Doge Coin" narrative with Shiba Inu breed dogs. Aguri Chan's main character, Aguri, is best friends with Neiro, the sister of Doge (The actual Shiba Inu dog who inspired this coin was named Kabosu, and unfortunately passed this year in Japan at the age of 18).
Story
.The IRL owner of Doge is Kabosu Mama (かぼすママ) who adopted a new Shiba Inu dog after Kabosu's death, the new dog's name is Neiro. Kabosu Mama has an IRL friend who also owns a Shiba Inu named Aguri, and they have a huge following on social media mainly because of the dogs.
So now, these dog meme coins are part of a whole ecosystem of humans who join the community because they identify, in one way or another, with the characters and the lore.
Think of it like finding a puppy in a dog shelter. It might not be the most well-trained dog and it might not know all the tricks that other dogs have and it might not even be as good looking, but there's something about that dog that warms your heart and makes you want to love him forever.
I know, right?
But I don't make the rules.
While the thought of pitching this to a room full of Sharks might seem cringe-worthy to you and me, meme communities have a lot of positivity, optimistic energy, engagement and memes! which a lot of people find interesting enough to want to join and even invest in.
People in Reddit, for example, are super active promoting DOGE, chanting things like "Do Only Good Everyday" an acronym for DOGE.
INLEO has identified a huge opportunity here and so the team is now approaching these projects offering to acquire 1% of the token supply in exchange for bringing their community to INLEO as another place to gather, share their memes and earn cryptocurrency in the process!
I believe in the idea of having
, so showing these projects that a community is investing in their success shows that they believe in the project and might drive commitment from all parties. If we continue to build these friendships with Dash and other meme communities, the number of users on INLEO could definitely grow into the tens of thousands in the near future, so I think it's a pretty interesting experiment.
