Reigning as King

‎

‎To reign as King in life is a portion of our inheritance in Christ Jesus. Many times, we dwell on the aspect of the scriptures that tell us what we are to do, now that we are God's children, which is excellent. But we seem to neglect the other side that tells us what Christ has already done for us. It is on the basis of what Christ has done for us that we are able to do anything else that is worth doing at all.

‎Without what Christ has done for us, there's nothing we do in this life that will bring glory to God; that will be acceptable to Him or that will actually bring us to a place where we can benefit from what God has provided for us. It is through what Christ has done for us that we are able to access those benefits.

‎‭Romans 5:17 - For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

‎Through the rebellion of Adam and Eve humanity was plunged into sin, sickness, diseases and all kinds of problems facing us today. But through the obedience of Christ, a new and living way was made for humanity to be freed from the grasp of Satan, from every chain, every yoke and every bondage of the devil.

‎When you receive Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you also receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness. And as a result of that, God intends for you to live as a King, being a master of circumstances.
