Splinterlands - Liquidity bots beat players - Is that the purpose of the game in Modern?

Splinterlands is obviously trying to lower the ratings of players in Modern with their liquidity bots; I have already lost 200 points playing manually in Modern because I keep losing against liquidity bots like this one here:

Here is an excerpt from his impressive battle history with 83 wins out of the last 100 fights - of the 17 lost fights, the bot fled four times, resulting in a win rate of more than 86% from the fights played:

Do you think that a company that distributes a game should use liquidity bots to artificially lower the players' ratings?
