“A Walk at Berjaya Hills: Steps Through Nature and History!”

I’m exhausted from the city and needed a short escape. I chose Berjaya Hills. I went there for a morning walk. Last month I was here with my tour, and when I found this place, I promised myself to come back for a walk since so many people were going for a walk too. I started my walk when the day began. I left the car and walked on the path. I moved at a slow pace. I watched the road and the ground. I breathed in the air. I kept my head down and then looked up. I kept my feet on the path and took steps one at a time. Not long after I started, I came to a bridge. The bridge had a metal rail. The rail had moss on it. I put my hand on the rail. The rail was damp. I walked on the bridge. The bridge took me to a new part of the path. Crossing it moved me from one place to another. This area has Colmar Tropicale. It looks like a French village.

There are shops, a village, and a hotel. Colmar Tropicale opened in 2000. The path went into a forest. Trees grew on each side of the path. Branches met above the path. The sun came through the branches in small lines. I saw light on some parts of the road and shade on other parts. I heard birds in the trees. I heard leaves move and water run far away. I kept walking and listened to these sounds. The path was made of cement. The cement made it easy to walk. At the side of the road, grass and moss grew back on the ground. I saw small plants near the rocks. The plants were on the edge of the path. They grew where people do not walk. I thought of people who walked here before me. I thought of workers who built the road. I thought of travelers who came and left. Each step I took joined my walk to their steps. I left a mark of my visit.

I walked and I gave time to the place. After some time, the trees opened, and the path met a small open space. The sun hit the path there. I stopped. I sat on a low wall. I closed my eyes for a few breaths. I listened to the slow sound of the place. I felt my body let go of tightness. I stayed for a short time, and then I stood and walked again. Walking here was more than moving my legs. It was a time to slow down. The road, the bridge, and the trees helped me to slow my steps. I walked with care. I walked step by step. When I finished, the sun was up. I went back and packed my bag. I felt that the walk had given me a new moment to keep in my memory. Leaving Berjaya Hills, I felt calm and light. Walking on the quiet paths helped me pause and breathe. I noticed small things like leaves, breeze, and birds. Even a short trip can bring peace. Back at home, I felt happy and calm. I drove out of the hill and thought of the steps I had taken. While driving, I have thought of bringing my husband along on the next hiking.
