I'm Going to Have to Pass Up These Offers

I don't trust my works to be good enough and this inner insight along with years of experience online already raised plenty of red flags of bs. I blurred out the names just in case this happens to be a real coincidence (I assume not). You get these bot messages often if you use specific tags.

The instagram messages just came in quick succession and accounts were probably meant to fish for private information. Even if these were real people interested in my works, I'd still decline the offers because I know it's not good enough to even pass my own standards. I'd be deluded to think the stuff I can make so far has commercial value. It probably has if I get upvotes here but we're talking about off platform self marketing where artists are pit against one another competing for attention.
The same goes for this deviant art message. I do not trust chats filled with emojis. 🤡

I check their individual profiles and none seem to appear like they collect art at all.
If the offer seems like it's too good to be true, it probably is. I'm not going to waste my time bothering with these opening lines in the future. It makes me wonder how many people fall victims to these attempts. I know Deviantart is full of aspiring young artists that would probably get giddy at the slightest validation so that's something to think about.
If you made it this far reading, thank you for your time.
