Stake Your Cards in Autovault & Earn Fuels! - MoonKarts

In Moon Karts, success is more than fast reflexes—it’s about resource management and continuous improvement. Two features, the Auto Vault and the upcoming Academy, are central to making that happen. I’ve studied their mechanics closely, and here’s what makes them powerful tools—and how to use them well.
Auto Vault: Turn Unused Cards Into Fuel
Fuel is essential in Moon Karts, particularly for multiplayer races. You can’t just race when you want—you need fuel in reserve. That’s where the Auto Vault comes in. It allows you to stake cards that you aren’t using in presets (unused driver or kart cards, parts, etc.) and also stake Script tokens, so those idle assets do productive work.
Each card contributes to fuel generation depending on its rarity, foil type, and level—the rarer or more enhanced, the faster the fuel accrual. There is a minimum staking duration, and if you pull out cards too early, there's a cooldown where they can't be used in races until that period ends. Also, to increase how many slots you can use in the Auto Vault, you must stake more Script tokens.
Be mindful: fuel has a storage cap. Any extra beyond your capacity is lost. Also, powerful or rare cards typically consume more fuel per race, so balancing your fuel income and consumption matters.

Academy: What’s Coming Next
Academy isn’t live yet, but its proposed functionality speaks to deeper player growth. It will let you stake cards to earn Airdrop Points, a non-transferable metric that determines how often and what kind of airdrops (drivers, boosters, car parts, etc.) you receive. The more points you accumulate, the better your chances of getting valuable gear. When you use those points (i.e. receive an airdrop), your Airdrop Points balance decreases accordingly.
Expert Tips for Using Them Well
Prioritize staking high-rarity and high-level cards you don’t often race with. They’ll generate more fuel relative to common cards.
Make sure your fuel stock stays below capacity to avoid waste; plan your racing to use fuel so generated fuel doesn’t go unused.
For Academy, keep enough variation in your collection—cards of various types—to maximize your airdrop opportunities. Diversify so you benefit more.
