Unwrapping STAKEHOUSEDEN - My First LADYLUCK Pack

"Wonderful" is just the word to express my feeling as I had my first ever feel of a gaming environment built on a blochchain. I've been hearing of web3 games, but I never had the push to see how it feels until I joined Hive. I have read several posts first about Splinterlands and then a few other games. Today, after reading @suteru and @libertycrypto27's blogs, I made a bold step to see how blockchain gaming looks like.
As I stepped into the
environment, with a welcoming "Revolutionary Gaming Adventures", I was almost confused on which of MOON KARTS, STAKEHOUSE DEN, SPLINTERLANDS, and GENESIS LEAGUE GOALS and I will have to try first. Since the blogs I read ealier talked about STAKEHOUSE DEN as the latest in the pack, I decided to start there.
The "Den" in the name at first made me think it was going to be a fight game with lions but it turned out to be Social Casino comprising of Roulette, video blackjack, slots and Video poker. I hae known of poker but never imagined oplaying it on the blockchain to earn crypto rewards, but here I'm I in the journey towards that reality.
While I am navigating to learn how the gameplay works, I decided to purchase some assets. Earlier today, I purchased some $HIVE tokens on Binance. I deposited them into my wallet and bought $SCRIPT token, which is said to be one of the assets to serve as purchasing power in the game. I was able to buy a litle above 6 $SCRIPT tokens.
After succesfully registering and loging in, I transfered the SCRIPT tokens from Hive-engine wallet into the game wallet to enable me get my first LADYLUCK NFTs pack. Each Lady Luck pack will consist of 5 cards selected from the total available 52 cards. The cards are a mix of Clubs (♣), Diamonds (♦), Hearts (♥), Spades (♠) and Jokers NFTs in Lady Luck Packs.
My SCRIPT tokens were only able to purchase 1 LADYLUCK pack. I'm yet to know how lucky I will be when I open the pack.
I am glad to be among the first set of users buying the LADYLUCK pack, out of which only packs are presently available. I am ready to join the ultimate quest for casino supremacy as I progress in this adventure.
The gameplay mode refused to open, I suggest due to network. I will keep on trying as I cannot wait to see how awesome the game feels. I have a lot of stories to tell friends about the Hive blockchain.
Just when I thought I have seen enough of the beauties here, I had the chance of entering the gaming environment, which I believe is a foretaste of the metaverse.
I will be back to share my experience in the game play even as I prepare to have aview of other games in the pack.
