Steem User Survey:

The Questions
How long have you been using Steem?
I joined Steem Block Chain on July 31st, 2017 at 17:56 Alaska Time. Or 1:56 in the morning of August 1st UTC time.Where are you in terms of SP? (Plankton(0-500SP), Minnow(500-5000SP), Dolphin(5k-50kSP), Whale(you're probably not a whale, if you are you know what a whale is))
Currently I am just past the halfway point to a dolphin at just over 2600 SPWhere are you in the world? (Just Country)
USWhat brought you to Steem?
My wife told me there were writers here that were sharing their stories, and since I like to read even though it was a Social Media site I thought I would try it out. What was your first impression?I kind of liked it, It did have a lot of stories to read. It was hard to find the stories, but I found them, made a couple of TOC for some and did a lot of reading. Searching for things is still a real pain in the butt, but some things can be found.
How do you feel about the current state of Steem?
It seems that Steem, (the block chain side) has been in a constant state of change, I still see SBC as in it's early stages, and change is to be expected. How often do you use Steem applications/websites/etc?
I am pretty much a daily Steemer, either voting, reading, commenting or on occasion postingWhat is your favorite Steem Application and why?
Favorite Application is Steemworld.org. It provides a quick access point to a lot of information that is not easy to find or obtain on your own as a non-programmer/developer.What’s your favorite thing about Steem?
I like how real most people are on the Social Side of Steem Block Chain. I can sit in my chair and see real peoples views of their homelands and surrounding areas, with real pictures. Not some editors idea or some government official's idea of what is worthy to be shown. The stories are still way way up there also. What’s your least favorite thing about Steem?@steem account's lack of concern for the ever growing army of down vote bots that they feed and provide fuel, (RC's,) for.
How difficult/easy would you say it is to use Steem?
Right now it is very difficult, As mentioned above Steem Block Chain Social side is in a constant state of change, there are no easy to find user help pages. So on a difficulty scale of 1-10 I would put Steem Block Chain Social at about a 7.5 almost an 8 in dificulty.Would you recommend Steem to family/friends/coworkers? If no why not?
In it's current state, no I don't think so. I am struggling with keeping up with and finding out how to do things, I do not want to spend all my time explaining SBC to friends or family members. What do you wish you could do with Steem that you can’t currently?
Steem Block Chain and block chain technology in general talks a lot about how well they are at storing text information. HTML is all text based. I would love to see someone come out with a personal home page system for the block chain. No need for host computer systems other than the storage of image data, (which I guess block chain tech does not do well). What excites you most about Steem?
I see block chain tech as early internet tech, we are in the BBS stage right now I think, and I can see new CompuServe, AOL's and Genie type systems, where will Steem land during the next phase will the be around 20 years later? What worries you most about Steem?
Microsoft owns Git-Hub. I do not know what the terms of service were for git-hub prior to Microsofts takeover. Microsoft has already prevented some developers from accessing git-hub, what will happen when the Federal government tells Microsoft to block all crypto sites from git-hub?
