Frozen for 60 minutes.

Time is a very essential commodity of life. In fact, the essence of life and destiny is measured by time. The reason many people get weary, anxious and even desperate when things are not working for them is because they believe that “time is running out”. The importance of time cannot be overemphasized.

Now if time froze all over the world for one hour and I happen to be the only human who is unaffected, what would I do?

At first when I saw this prompt question, I immediately thought of storming the banks around my area and pack as much as possible but then I recalled that the prompt said that time would only last for one hour and this means that after sixty minutes, everything would go back to normal.

This means that what I did would be found out even though it wasn't technically stealing right? I just walked in and collected some idle money, hehe. Well that was just in theory. I wouldn't actually try it out😁.

Back to the prompt…..

The first thing I would do is to begin snooping around for secrets. I would do this simply for amusement. I would have loved to tour the world or visit iconic places but the time limit is too short for travels and tours.

So rather than allow the frozen time to unfreeze without me achieving something tangible, I would rather snoop around and laugh at people's secrets. Who knows what I would discover. Maybe I would find out that my cousin likes to sneak in midnight snacks or that my next door neighbour has a mistress and two illegitimate children, hehe.

The second thing I would do is to eat every available food I can find around my area. Either from the kitchen of my neighbour's or the one being sold in eateries or restaurants. I will go on a devouring spree. I will use that one hour of frozen time to be a glutton for once in my life. I only hope that my stomach doesn't cry.

The third thing I can do is to become a local “Robinhood” by helping out poor and needy people around my residential area with whatever I can find. I will take from those who have more and give to those who don't have. I would place it in front if rhem while time is still frozen, so that when time unfreezes, they would awaken to find food supplies and necessities in front of them.

The beauty of this act is that it would be done secretly and no one would find out that I was their hero.

When time finally unfreezes, the happiness that would be radiating on their faces would be my reward. This might seem like an Herculean or impossible task but hey, I can only do so much and because I want to do this, I will do it with all my heart to those I come across

I really hope that this doesn't happen because it won't be funny.
