I Built txtwordcounter.com 100% Free Using ChatGPT

Hello everyone,
This is Md Belal Hossain, and today I want to share a small achievement that means a lot to me. I recently built a website called txtwordcounter.com, and the best part is—I created it completely free using ChatGPT.
I’m not a professional web developer, but I’ve always had a strong interest in technology and learning how things work. With some curiosity, patience, and the help of AI, I was able to turn an idea into a real, working website.
What is txtwordcounter.com?
It’s a simple, fast, and free online tool where you can count words, characters, sentences, paragraphs, and even estimate reading time. It’s useful for writers, students, bloggers, and anyone who works with text.
There are many word counters online, but I wanted to build one that is clean, fast, mobile-friendly, and focused only on text-related tools. No ads, no distractions—just a useful tool that does exactly what it says.
How Did I Build It?
I used ChatGPT as my assistant throughout the entire process. From writing the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to fixing bugs and adding new features, I asked ChatGPT for help step by step. I learned a lot in the process, and I didn’t spend a single Taka on development.
Why I Built It
As a QA Engineer, I work with software every day, but building something from scratch gave me a new kind of satisfaction. I wanted to explore how AI can help in web development, and this project was the perfect way to do that.
I also wanted to give something back to the community. This tool is completely free, and I hope it helps others in their daily work.
What’s Next?
I plan to keep improving the site by adding new features like:
Text analysis
Keyword density checker
Export options
More helpful tools for writers and content creators
If you have suggestions, feel free to let me know. I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for reading, and if you're curious, check out the site:
