Eggplant Kebab /// Patlıcan Kebabı

Hello everyone, friends. My work life continues to be busy as it is. If my wife was with me, life would be easier, so I can spend more time with you. When I am alone, this rush is more tiring. Most of the time, I say enough is enough. At such times, I want to distract myself by giving myself to another occupation. We had such a working day again with my colleagues. Towards the end of the day, we made a plan for an event. We were going to have a picnic after we woke up.

Herkese merhaba arkadaşlar. İş hayatım yine olduğu gibi yoğun geçmeye devam ediyor. Eşim yanımda olsaydı hayat daha kolaylaşıyor bu yüzden sizlere daha çok vakit ayırabiliyorum. Tek başıma olunca bu koşturmaca daha çok yoruyor. Çoğu zaman yeter artık dediğim oluyor. Böyle zamanlarda kendimi başka bir uğraşa verip kafamı dağıtmak istiyorum. İş arkadaşlarımla yine böyle bir iş günü geçirdik. Günün sonuna doğru bir etkinlik için plan yaptık. Uyandıktan sonra piknik yapacaktık.

I woke up around 13:00. We met at the point where we planned. We bought the necessary materials for the picnic. We were going to the Ahmet Beyli beach, which I mentioned before. After about forty minutes, we finished our way. But due to excessive wind, we made an emergency plan change. The first alternative point was Sarnıç Picnic area. There was hardly anyone there when we went as it was a working day of the week. First we lit our fire. Then we lit the indispensable samovar.

Saat 13:00 sıralarında uyandım. Plan yaptığımız noktada buluştuk. Piknik için gerekli malzemeleri aldık. Benim daha öncesinde de belirttiğim, Ahmet Beyli sahiline gidecektik. Yaklaşık kırk dakika sonra yolumuzu bitirdik. Fakat aşırı rüzgar olduğu için acil plan değişikliğine gittik. İlk alternatif nokta Sarnıç Piknik alanıydı. Gittiğimizde haftanın iş günü olduğu için hemen hemen hiç kimse yoktu. İlk olarak ateşimizi yaktık. Daha sonra vazgeçilmez olan semaveri yaktık.

Since our friend loves chicken wings, we cooked the chickens first. We were going to try a new flavor with my other friend. Eggplant Kebab, which I have seen in many businesses before but never had the opportunity to eat.

Arkadaş tavuk kanat sevdiği için ilk olarak tavukları pişirdik. Diğer arkadaşımla yeni bir lezzet deneyecektik. Ben daha önce birçok işletmede gördüğüm ama bir türlü yeme fırsatımın olmadığı Patlıcan Kebabı.

My friend and I immediately rolled up our sleeves. We kneaded the ground beef we bought very well. We added the spices I brought from home to the ground meat in a very good ratio. Then we placed the eggplant slices that we cut in round on wooden skewers. Then we put on some ground beef. Then eggplant, then ground beef.

Arkadaşımla hemen kolları sıvadık. Aldığımız kıymayı bir güzel yoğurduk. Evden getirdiğim baharatları kıymanın içirisine çok güzel oranda ilave ettik. Daha sonra tahta şişlere yuvarlak olarak kestiğimiz patlıcan dilimini yerleştirdik. Sonra biraz kıyma taktık. Sonra patlıcan, sonra kıyma....

It's time to cook the unique flavor. We were a little inexperienced as it was our first time. We wish it was an iron skewer, an egg for ground meat. 😅 We cooked it in about 8-10 minutes. We served and tasted. We had a very, very good taste. The insides are not very well cooked. This is probably because the skewers are wooden. All in all it was a very nice day. We got rid of the work stress that we left behind that day. We realized that it would be great to do such events from time to time.

Sıra geldi benzersiz lezzeti pişirmeye. İlk defa yaptığımız için biraz acemi davrandık. Keşke demir şiş olsaydı, kıyma için yumurta olsaydı dediğimiz oldu. 😅 Yaklaşık 8-10 dakika gibi sürede pişirdik. Servis yapıp tadına baktık. Çok ama çok güzel bir tat yakalamıştık. İç kısımları çok pişmemiş. Bunun sebebi muhtemelen şişlerin ahşap olması. Sonuç olarak çok güzel bir gündü. O gün geride bıraktığımız iş stresini atmış olduk. Ara sıra böyle etkinlikleri yapmanın çok iyi olacağını anlamış olduk.
