So everyone's yapping about CBDCs... the "cashless society"... like it's some new revelation. We all see it coming, eh. It's been the plan for decades. But what happens when they actually pull the trigger? Not the slow test programs... I mean the announcement. The day they say "your paper dollars are being phased out in 6 months" or "cash transactions over $20 are now illegal".
Think about all the people who don't trust the banks right now.
The mattress stuffers. The folks running cash-only businesses just to stay afloat. The paranoid uncles who were right all along. All the people who got burned in 2008 and just said... screw it, I'm holding paper.
You think those people... the ones already hoarding stacks of paper... are just gonna roll over and accept a digital leash? A programmable government token where they can shut you off? No shot. These ain't crypto bros looking for a 100x. These are people who trust what they can hold. Cash was option A... their only link to privacy.
When cash gets rugged... what's option B?
It ain't gonna be some digital pinger on a chain they don't understand. It’s the original money. Gold. Silver.
People seriously underestimate how much physical cash is just... sitting out there. It's not in the system. It's in safes, buried in the backyard, who knows. Trillions, easily. When that wall of paper realizes its worthless... and it tries to cram itself into the tiny physical precious metals market... man.
Forget "to the moon." The supply is already tight. Dealers are always running low on real stuff as it is. This won't be a gradual thing. It'll be a panic. A stampede.
And the banks know this. The government knows this. They don't care. Maybe they want the chaos. It lets them blame "hoarders" and "speculators" instead of their own garbage policy. They create the problem, then they get to "solve" it by locking everything down even harder. Absolutle classic sleaze ball move.
All that paper money... poof. Gone. They're gonna turn every cash hoarder into a stacker overnight. And the people holding that paper will be desperate. Desperate people don't negotiate prices, eh... they just buy. Good luck finding a single oz of silver when that dam finally breaks.
