I’m excited to make my first post here! A little info about me, I am a developer working on KongSwap, an ambitious DeFi project built on the Internet Computer. I’ve been involved in blockchain development for the past few years, and joining the KongSwap team has given me the opportunity to tackle some of the most interesting problems on the Internet Computer and in decentralized finance.

About KongSwap

KongSwap is more than just another decentralized exchange. The platform is designed from the ground up to enable bridgeless, wrapperless trading across multiple blockchains. Thanks to the Internet Computer’s Chain Fusion technology, our smart contracts—called canisters—can interact directly with other networks. This means KongSwap can integrate native Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana at the protocol level, allowing users to swap assets without relying on external bridges or wrapped tokens.

Our architecture keeps both the frontend and backend fully on‑chain, using stable memory to store large amounts of data and execute complex trading logic. This approach reduces reliance on centralized servers. By aggregating liquidity across chains and executing swaps directly at the protocol level, KongSwap aims to deliver a smoother, more secure trading experience for users.

KongSwap is also a DAO, governed by token holders. Each update to KongSwap must be approved by the DAO. In the ICP ecosystem, a DAO actually controls code updates. A proposal must pass for the new canister WASM to be deployed. That's a whole nother topic though.

Why I’m Excited

The vision of a seamless multichain ecosystem—where users can trade native assets from different blockchains without hassle. I believe that bridging fragmentation in DeFi is essential for the next phase of crypto adoption, and KongSwap is at the forefront of this effort. I look forward to sharing updates, technical deep dives and development stories with the Hive community in future posts.

If you’d like to learn more about our work, check out the detailed

or our introduction on the Internet Computer forum. I’m happy to answer questions and look forward to engaging with the Hive community.

Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for more updates from the KongSwap team!
