Olanggo Island has become my second home

Hello, everyone! Wishing you all a wonderful day and a life filled with joy. Today, I want to share the lovely place where my husband lives.
My husband is from Olanggo Island, which is part of Lapu-Lapu City. It is surrounded by the sea and there are many beautiful spots to visit and adventures to make. You will need to take a ferry boat if you want to go there, and it takes 15 to 20 minutes travel. One of the biggest challenges for those who want to go there or for the residents is the big waves, which sometimes the reason why people can't go to work or prevent fish vendors from crossing to the mainland (Lapu-Lapu City) to sell their fish.
As you get off to the ferry boat, you will see a small island. Unluckily, I haven't been there, I'm captivated by its beauty even from a distance. To get to my husband's place, you only need one ride. Along the way, you'll see a very pretty long bridge, especially at night (I'll post one next time!). The bridge is a bit far from where he lives.
One reason I always visit here is the delicious and fresh seafood I can get for free. The seafood in this picture was caught by my husband's cousins; they spend a day and a night at sea, and their wives sell the rest of this. Life is happy and abundant for those who live here. Honestly, the sea provides great blessings if we use it properly and responsibly.
Besides the delicious food, there are many beautiful places to visit here. This place is known for its many beautiful sights and beaches. One of them is a breathtaking spot you'll surely include on your list when planning a trip to Olanggo Island. It's free, and it's easy to get to because it's just in front of the famous Shalala Beach. It's like a small island called Suba Mangrove Spot. It's full of mangroves, and you can relax here and contemplate while sitting in a hammock. The hammocks are brought by my husband's brother. So if you're going there, it's best to bring your own hammock, small chair, or mat if you want to lie down.
Another good place to hang out while waiting for the sunset is the shoreline near my husband's house. The children often swim here, and the fishermen also pass by here when they're going fishing. That small boat is what they use for fishing.
Like the sun sets, another energetic day has ended, and you've just read another story. There's more to look forward to regarding life and places you can visit here. Look out for my next post, fellow hivers!
Again, this is all for now. Thank you for your time in reading my post!
Love; Thata
