New Updates I got on Splinterlands Discord Voice Chat Yesterday

So around noon my time yesterday being the 7th October 2025, I was lucky to be online when the Splinterlands team hosted a live session on Discord voice chat themed “Conclave Arcana Rewards System” which took place from 11:30am EDT. Other community members were also in attendance on the voice chat. We had the opportunity to be informed that there is going to be some new tweaks added to our dear Splinterlands game.

I also got to know that what we will call “SCROLLS” will be introduced which will be used to unlock Standard full cards which are soulbound. So if you have your regular cards and want to make them tradable, this “SCROLL” is what you will be needed to use instead of DEC which is currently in use. Each rarity which consists of Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary will have one type of SCROLL.

Players will be able to purchase SCROLL using DEC and that will be 5x the collection power. SCROLLS will also be given out as rewards in Loot Chests. In the Artisan Quarter using land resources, players will be able to craft them too. It will also be tradable among players or be bought via the NCM.

The steps below will be how you can use your unbinding scrolls. If you want to unlock a card collection of your regular foil card, you will make sure that the scroll matches the rarity of the foil card. Then if you happen to have multiple foil cards, then the action will require multiple scrolls to be successful.

Another update I got to know of early was that “THE ULTIMATE CHASE” which includes the “BLACK FOIL” and the “FORTUNE DRAW” will be introduced. It was brought to my knowledge that the Black foil will be the most exclusive cards on Splinterlands ever. These versions will be called Black foil and the Arcane Variant. There are also called the Ultra Rare cards which are being pre-minted. It was also stated that they cannot be found in the draws or in chests. Players will only be able to win them in the weekly “FORTUNE DRAW” which has just been introduced but is yet to commence.

The Fortune Draw will take place weekly and will last for about 53 weeks. Rewards set aside for this weekly draws include a total of 76-78 Unique Black foil cards, Black foil and Gold foil Arcane cards weekly.

1 You need a Fortune draw pass which is basically a pass that costs 125 DEC weekly which you need from a Spellbook holder. The pass needs to be purchased before the weekly draw commences. Players will be able to pre-purchase the passes for up to the 53 weeks.

2 You can earn the pass from winning a total of five ranked battles. Be it Wild or Modern. This will earn you a series of entries and this can be done thrice daily.

3 Entries can be gotten from the Glint shon and that will cost 2000 Glint per draw.

4 Entries can also be gotten from Loot Chests
