Hola amigos, espero que todos estén muy bien. Por aquí todo bajo control, acompañando a mi hijo en cada etapa de su rehabilitación. Me hizo muy feliz ayer porque su abrazo matutino fue con mucha más energía que días anteriores. Agradezco a Dios por eso.
El día de hoy les quiero compartir unas macetas muy pequeñas que tejí con la intención de hacer pequeños cactus. La idea original era hacer cactus con brazos 🌵, pero el hilo verde apenas me alcanzó para hacer el cuerpo 😃 me decidí entonces por hacer cactus simples y así los hice. Hello friends, I hope you are all very well. Around here everything under control, accompanying my son in each stage of his rehabilitation. He made me very happy yesterday because his morning hug was with much more energy than previous days. I thank God for that.
Today I want to share with you some very small pots that I wove with the intention of making small cactus. The original idea was to make cactus with arms 🌵, but the green yarn was barely enough to make the body 😃 so I decided to make simple cactus and that's how I made them. Yo me enamoro de cada uno de los proyectos que tejo, más que todo de los que realizo así de manera casi improvisada. Me dan ganas de tejer y comienzo con lo primero que se me viene a la mente. Así surgió este proyecto que voy a presentarles.
No es nada nuevo 😃 simplemente elaboré una maceta 🪴 más pequeña de las que les he mostrado antes, menos vueltas en la base y menos de altura. Usé hilos pabilos, aguja de crochet de 2,25mm, tijeras, algodón para rellenar, pegamento y espero encontrar aquí en Mendoza un lugar donde comprar argollas y aros para llaveros.

I fall in love with each of the projects I knit, especially the ones I make in an almost improvised way. I feel like knitting and I start with the first thing that comes to my mind. That's how this project I'm going to present to you came up.
It's nothing new 😃 I simply made a pot 🪴 smaller than the ones I've shown you before, less twists at the base and less height. I used pabilos threads, 2.25mm crochet needle, scissors, cotton for stuffing, glue and I hope to find here in Mendoza a place where to buy rings and rings for key rings.

Después que tejí la maceta empecé a tejer el cactus con brazos, lamentablemente el hilo no me alcanzó y apenas pude tejer el cuerpo del cactus. Así lo dejé. Coloqué un poco de relleno y dejé una hebra larga para ajustarlo en la maceta. Todo el proyecto lo tejí con puntos bajos. Inicié ambas piezas desde un anillo mágico de 6pb.

After I knitted the pot I started to knit the cactus with arms, unfortunately the yarn was not enough and I could barely knit the body of the cactus. That's how I left it. I placed some stuffing and left a long strand to fit it in the pot. I knitted the whole project in single crochet. I started both pieces from a 6pb magic ring.

Tuve un poco más de tiempo los siguientes días y antes de tejer la florecita del primer cactus que tejí, realicé dos cactus más con su maceta. Como pueden ver son de colores diferentes al verde, pero en el mundo de la creatividad y del crochet todo se vale. A mí me gustan como se ven. El tamaño es ideal para usar como llaveros o colgantes. Si eres minimalista también puedes usarlos para decorar algún espacio de tu casa u oficina.

I had a little more time the following days and before knitting the flower of the first cactus I knitted, I made two more cacti with their pots. As you can see they are different colors than green, but in the world of creativity and crochet anything goes. I like the way they look. The size is ideal to use as key chains or pendants. If you are a minimalist you can also use them to decorate a space in your home or office.

Un día por la mañana amaneció lloviendo y mi hijo pasó casi todo el día durmiendo, la casa estaba oscura y yo muy aburrida, aproveché para tejer las flores de los cactus y armar las piezas de cada uno. Es el primer día desde que estoy aquí en Argentina que paso tantas horas sin hacer ejercicios con mi hijo. Él se despertó, desayunó, merendó y se volvió a dormir. Fueron muchas horas de sueño 🥱 y de aburrimiento para mí. Terminé los cactus y luego fui a hacer labores domésticas. Me encanta como lucen los cactus. La amiga de mi hijo me regaló unas bolsas plásticas y ahí los guardé.

One day in the morning it was raining and my son spent most of the day sleeping, the house was dark and I was very bored, so I took the opportunity to knit the cactus flowers and assemble the pieces of each one. It is the first day since I have been here in Argentina that I have spent so many hours without exercising with my son. He woke up, had breakfast, had a snack and went back to sleep. It was many hours of sleep 🥱 and boredom for me. I finished the cacti and then went to do housework. I love the way the cacti look. My son's friend gave me some plastic bags and that's where I kept them.
