Tattoo journeys ep.11. Challenge accepted!

It is a pretty exciting feeling to level up. No matter in what domain you are working, I am pretty sure that whenever you were challenged to step out of your comfort zone and exceed your own expectations you thrived on that feeling of joy and adrenaline.

I was pretty stoked to be able to work on two bigger projects. I guess the Universe gave me this chance in order to realize that I can and I will do better.

The first project was a floral themed tattoo

and the second a music inspired one.

I gave my best to be able to pull a project like this in a one day session. The floral sleeve will be continued and I will probably add the final pictures in my upcoming posts.

I felt proud and grateful that I worked on something more challenging. It did not make me change my opinion about the shop anyway as I stand firm on my decision, but it made me realize how much I enjoy tattoing.

Being able to do this type of work with a tattoo machine under 200 dollars is amazing. I am proud of myself. A cheap machine will always produce good work in the right hands.

But a few weeks ago I realize that the machine is no longer working properly. I tried to change the RCA cable thinking it was the connection. But as I did that nothing improved so my hunch is that it is the motor. Well, it has did its job and I can't complain as it was used with full force in the last months.

So...I ordered myself a new tattoo machine, a power supply, good RCA cable, quality foot pedal and some cool ointment. I can't wait for the package to arrive and for me to unbox my brand new high quality machine. I will for sure make a post about it.

The guy wants to continue the leg sleeve with a guitar or maybe a portrait. I thought that is pretty cool.
