The king was amazed and asked the queen for forgiveness. News of the miracle spread throughout the city and the people proclaimed Queen Isabel of Portugal a saint.

A rainha mostrou, perante os olhos espantados de todos, as belíssimas rosas que guardava. O pão que levava escondido tinha-se transformado em rosas.

O rei ficou pasmado e pediu perdão à rainha. A notícia do milagre correu a cidade e o povo proclamou santa a rainha Isabel de Portugal.
