Ingredients

🥫 1 can 15 oz chickpeas, drained
🥄 1 cup 2% cottage cheese
🍶 1/4 cup tahini

🧂 1/2 tsp salt
❄️ 2 ice cubes

Instructions

1- Prepare the Ingredients:

  • In a blender cup similar to a Nutribullet, add the drained chickpeas, 1 cup of 2% cottage cheese, 1/4 cup tahini, the juice of 1/2 a lemon, 1 tsp minced garlic, 1/2 tsp cumin, and 1/2 tsp salt.

3- Add Ice for Smoothness:

  • Incorporate 2 ice cubes into the blender cup.
  • This step is crucial for obtaining a silky smooth hummus consistency.

4- Blend Until Smooth:

  • Secure the lid of the blender and blend all ingredients until smooth.
  • Occasionally, stop to scrape down the sides of the blender cup with a spatula to ensure even blending.

5- Taste and Adjust:

  • Open the blender and taste your hummus.
  • Adjust seasoning if needed, adding more salt or lemon juice as per preference.

6- Serve and Garnish:

  • Transfer the hummus into a white ceramic serving bowl.
