My Cat Sleeping On My Laptop 8.14.2025

Well, my cat usually does what she wants. Always wants to be in the same room that I am in. She is pretty old now, I think she is about 15 years old.
I got her back in 2012 from a place called, Pets and Pals, a no kill animal shelter. They told me she was a year old at the time, but from the paper work that they gave me I think she was more like 2 years old when I took her in.
So she has been with me for about 13 years now and if she was 2 years old at the time I took her, she is 15 years old.
My last cat before this one died at 11 years old, so this one out lived my long haired cat by 4 years and she is still here.
Thing is that my cat is old and sometimes she goes through seizures, I read that older cats do get seizures every now and then. So I am thinking my cat may pass soon, so I do keep her close and try to give her quality time.
There was one time, I think years ago, my cat was sick and she didn't eat much. I though she was going to die since she was old enough to when cats usually pass away.
All of a sudden I didn't even see her. I know that some cats like to hide when they pass away. That is what I thought that she hid someplace and then just passed away. I even wrote a blog about how my cat passed away, but I didn't have the body, so I wasn't sure.
Then after I published my blog about my cat passing away, my cat was hiding in a box, but came out and she looked better.
I had to write another blog on how I made a mistake and that my cat is alive and looks better.
I think what happened was that my cat was fasting. You know that fasting can help heal your body, and that is what my cat did.
My cat is now laying by me as I write about her. So I will just let her sleep.
Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, A righteous regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked cruel. Proverbs 12:10.
