The Little Gardener

The July drawing challenge called The Menagerie by Krisette had already started yesterday, I know my entry is not going to progress if I keep analyzing so I thought just dive in. The day 1 prompt I find cute and interesting but let me write down here what I need to accomplish before I get carried away so here are the prompts for this day 1 challenge of The Menagerie:

Species: Hedgehog ✔️
Pose: Watering a row of tiny potted plants
Clothing/Accessories: Straw hat ✔️, denim overalls
Theme/Vibe: Cottagecore gardener
Must-have Item(s): Watering can ✔️, apron with seed packets ✔️

So I put a check mark on the prompts that I somehow met. My drawing still lacks the potted plants and I did not put this lil creature in an overall. That was what I was debating is a trouser necessary or leave it with just a top. The straw hat and that additional red scarf detail are still lacking details. I will be posting this for now as WIP to keep me going or else I may not finish a thing.
