Hi there. There are more revealed cards from Pokemon Japan's Inferno X set. Inferno X releases in Japan on September 26 and internationally as Phantasmal Flames on November 24, 2025.

Lotad & Lombre

Lotad & Lombre are a part of the Ludicolo evolution line. As attackers they are not that great.

Ludicolo

Ludicolo is the final evolved form of Lotad. This Grass Pokemon has 160 HP, a two retreat cost and Fire weakness. The Knock Down attack requires 1 Grass Energy and 1 Colourless Energy to do 120 damage.

The Excited Healing ability is a powerful healing ability conditional on having a Mega Grass Pokemon ex in play. Once during your turn you may heal 60 damage from 1 of your Pokemon.

A lot of cards in the deck are required to get this Ludicolo in play. I don't think this will be very playable. You can use something like Wally's Compassion instead.

Bramblin + Brambleghast

Bramblin as an attacker is not very good.

Brambleghast as an attacker is also not very good. The Panic Prison only activates upon evolution from hand. You can have your opponent's Active Pokemon Confused. Confusion is very annoying to deal with. You have to flip Heads to get your attack working normally. If you get Tails, the attack fails and you deal 30 damage to yourself. Confusion can be removed if you evolve to a new Pokemon or retreat it.

Misdreavus + Mismagius ex

Misdreavus is a 70 HP Basic Psychic Pokemon with one retreat cost, Dark weakness and a simple 20 damage attack from 1 Psychic Energy.

Mismagius ex is the evolved form of Misdreavus. This has 260 HP, one retreat cost and Dark weakness. The Six Magic attack requires 2 Psychic Energy to deal 150 damage with the added effect of drawing cards until 6 in hand.

The Swirling Spell ability only works when Mismagius ex is in the Active Spot. Whenever you opponent switches in a new Active Pokemon, it is now Confused. I think this ability does not work on Pokemon that comes into the Active Spot after a Knockout. I would have to do more research on this one. Confusion is pretty annoying as flipping Tails results in a failed attack and 30 damage to yourself.

Jumbo Ice

Jumbo Ice is a very powerful Item healing card. Your Active Pokemon needs to have 3 or more Energy attached to it in order to heal 80 damage.

As powerful as the healing Item card is, only a few decks can benefit from this card. Deck space is also tight in many decks.

Vertigo Valley

With the Vertigo Valley Stadium card, confused Pokemon on both sides don't recover from Confusion when they evolve or devolve. The only way to remove confusion is through Knockout on itself, retreating or switching the Confused Pokemon to the Bench.

It is too early to say if this Stadium is good or bad. There could be more Confusion related support cards and Pokemon in 2026.

Mega Heracross ex

Here is Mega Heracross ex. This Basic Mega Pokemon ex has 280 HP, 2 retreat cost and Fire weakness.

Panzer Horn for 2 Grass Energy does 100 base damage. If this Pokemon was damaged by an attack during your opponent's last turn, then this attack does that much more damage. For example, if Mega Heracross took 200 damage from an opponent's attack last turn, then Panzer Horn does 300 damage (100 + 200). This attack is okay. The opponent could bypass this attack by either doing small damage and then a second hit knockout or going for the one hit KO.

Mountain Thrust for 3 Grass Energy does 170 damage plus it discards the top 2 cards from your opponent's deck.

It looks Mega Heracross ex is just a beatstick attacker. It is not awful but it is not super amazing. This attacker could maybe be good in the future.

Thank you for reading.
