Dahlia is a daisy-like flower native to Mexico, loved for its elegant beauty, many colors and delicate layered petals. In Vietnam, dahlias are often grown in areas with cool climates all year round, and Mang Den – a highland town in Quang Ngai province, at an altitude of about 1,200m – is one of the ideal places for this flower to bloom.

Dahlia season in Mang Den usually starts from around November to the end of spring, especially brilliant at the end of the year and Tet. In the cold weather of 14–20°C, healthy dahlias stretch out, blooming with many layers of soft petals, with a variety of outstanding colors such as red, orange, yellow, pink, purple... making Mang Den's landscape brilliant but no less poetic.

The beauty of the dahlias in Mang Den comes not only from their brilliant colors but also from the contrast between the gentleness of the flowers and the wild, peaceful scenery of pine forests, hills and misty plateaus. When the gentle morning sunlight shines through the mist, each dahlia seems to have a natural halo - both romantic and dreamy, making anyone easily captivated.

For tourists, the Mang Den dahlia season is a visual and emotional experience. They can stroll in the flower gardens, enjoy the fresh, cold air, inhale the gentle fragrance and take artistic photos in the midst of the brilliant flower gardens. Dahlia growing areas at farms, homestays or eco-tourism areas have become very popular check-in spots, especially for young people and those who are passionate about taking wedding photos, souvenir photos or Korean-style travel photos.

Not as noisy as wild sunflower season, not as haughty as lavender, Mang Den dahlia season brings a feeling of peace, gentleness and rich emotions, like an invitation for visitors to slow down, to enjoy and to feel their hearts become gentler in the midst of the highland nature.

Thank you very much for taking time to read my post. I hope you enjoy it and have a nice day.
