[ES/EN] Apocalipsis Z: The Best from Beginning to End

A while ago I saw Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End which is in my opinion one of the best movies and stories of a zombie apocalypse in recent years and with the new season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon where they arrive in Spain made me watch it again and realize how well planned it is with many elements very well integrated and used, adapted from a saga of novels that although in this first film there is nothing extremely striking or different in the infected at least until now because I have not read the novels and the next film is planned to be released in 2026 creates an interesting story with a good mix of emotions and I want to talk to you about it so that if you have not seen it you give it the opportunity to see it.

Hace tiempo vi Apocalipsis Z: El principio del fin el cual es a mi parecer una de las mejores películas e historia de un apocalipsis zombie de los últimos años y con la nueva temporada de The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon donde llegan a España me hizo volver a verla y darme cuenta lo bien planeada que es con muchos elementos muy bien integrados y usado, adaptada de una saga de novelas que aunque en esta primera película no hay nada extremadamente llamativo o diferente en los infectados por lo menos hasta ahora porque no he leído las novelas y la siguiente película esta planeada a estrenarse en 2026 crea una historia interesante con una buena mezcla de emociones y quiero hablarle de ella para que si no la han visto le den la oportunidad de verla.

The infected in the film are fast-moving, violent beings that move in large hordes, similar to the infected in 28 Days Later. However, unlike the infected in other films, those in Apocalypse Z are not just mindless creatures, but rather maintain a minimum degree of intelligence knowing how to choose their prey or having a minimum of spatial awareness to choose the path to their prey and not just trying to reach them in a straight line; they can be more dangerous than a typical zombie.

The story of Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End is very well done and structured, showing us as a series a zombie apocalypse in a more realistic way, even having a lot of resemblance to the corona virus pandemic and other real-life events and people's behavior while not being limited to a few places like many stories of this type but showing a great variety of scenarios that the protagonist travels through, from the devastated city to the desolate countryside, which gives the film an air of adventure and exploration, locations with their changes and clues of the things that happened in each one:

La historia de Apocalipsis Z: El principio del fin esta muy bien hecha y estructurada mostrándonos como serie un apocalipsis zombie de manera mas realista incluso teniendo mucho parecido con la pandemia de corona virus y otros eventos de la vida real y el comportamiento de las personas mientras no se limita a pocos lugares como muchas historias de este tipo sino que muestra gran variedad de escenarios que recorre el protagonista, desde la ciudad devastada hasta el campo desolado, lo que le da a la película un aire de aventura y exploración, locaciones con sus cambios y pistas de las cosas que sucedieron en cada uno:

Despite being curious to know how the story continues and despite being scheduled to be released in 2026 without an exact date it may seem like a long wait and I am tempted to read the novels, I prefer to wait for the film to be released to avoid Spoilers that may arise to look for the novels in addition to enjoying the films like the first time and then being able to read the novels and know what changes there are with the original story and the details that are left out due to time or other reasons in the film by doing it the other way around cannot be enjoyed as much.

A pesar de tener curiosidad por saber como continua la historia y a pesar de estar prevista a estrenarse en 2026 sin una fecha exacta puede parecer una larga espera y me tienta leer las novelas prefiero esperar a la salida de la película para evitar Spoilers que puedan surgir a buscar las novelas además para disfrutar las películas como la primera vez y después poder leer las novelas y saber que cambios hay con la historia original y los detalles que se queden fuera por tiempo o otras razones en la película en haciéndolo al revés no se pueden disfrutar tanto.
