🥳 Birthday sleepover🌠

Hello, night owls.
It's 12:03 am in our beautiful Cuba.

Tonight my oldest daughter and her friends are having a sleepover on the rooftop of my house. Since it's Saturday, noise is allowed, and at least I'll have company while I convince myself to go to sleep.

It's Michel's birthday, one of the regulars in the group. He's a good, quiet guy who doesn't like going out to clubs or other public places; he always prefers to stay home and spend time together.

So there they are, "dawning," as we call staying up late here.
They don't need much to throw a party: music, drinks, cards to play, and the joy that always accompanies them at that age.

I made them promise they'd update me occasionally with photos of the best parts of the party. I'm almost about to regret that deal. The more I see, the more I want to go up, but the darkness, the already dewy stairs, and my forty-something knees aren't a good combination hahahahaha

From here, I also enjoy listening to their karaoke, jokes, and laughter. I know them so well that I don't need to see them to know who's behaving the worst. Let's see how long they can last.

I leave you with a goodnight hug, for when sleep comes.
