Staying Healthy; My Intentional Routine.

As a mother in this ever change world with numerous official work for instance attending to my students in school, marking their classworks and assignment, discipline them when they go wrong etc, at home toddlers to attend to, household tasks e.g cooking and meal planning, cleaning, laundry, running errands, grocery buying etc. Religion activities are not left out, communities and society will still expects me to be up and down. Inspite of all these, I still strive to live and maintain a healthy and balanced life. How I achieved this is not far fetched and it will be abundantly discuss in this article.

One out of the numerous means I achieved healthy living is by eating balanced diet. In planning my family meal, I make sure I includes unprocessed foods like vegetables, fruits, healthy fats, whole grains and lean proteins. Canning foods are minimised, and heavy food is not allow once is late in the night.

Also, my family and I sleep schedule is regular and consistence. I ensure bedtime routine is consistence. I achieved this by aiming at 7_9 hours bedtime. None of my kids nor Myself is allowed to watch TV or gists at 10pm.

On weekends, I stayed at home and bonds and relax with my family. It's a perfect time to recharge and get refresh, regenerate and revitalise.

Additionally, I practice Self Care to maintain a healthy living. By this I make time for activities that bring me joy and relaxation, for instance, reading is a pleasure for me, I engaged in it,I listening to music while doing chores. This usually helped me emotionally expecially when am exhausted.

Staying organized helps my mental health. I achieved this through using calendar, to__do list, sticking notes etc.

Water therapy goes a long way in helping me maintain a good diet which balanced my healthy living. I tried to stay hydrated all the time, and don'ts rush to takes pill whenever I have any discomfort, water is always the first aid medicine I usually take.

Organic and natural products for soaps, body creams, toothpastes and some other natural cosmetics are more welcomed in my home than chemical based products. Not that I don't use them, but it is lesser to natural products. For instance, I preferred hair oil that is naturally made of coconut and shear butter to chemicals based hair creams.

Lastly, I preferred home cooked food to fast foods from canteens, eateries or restaurants. I rarely eats outside, same with my family.

As I arrive to live a healthy and balanced life,I realized that incorporating a healthy and balanced life should be a routine and I must be intentional about this, to achieve this, I prioritize my physical, emotional and psychological well being. With this I can boost my energy, revitalise and
