October forest

Very often people say: in order not to get upset, you do not need to idealize and build high expectations. This also works in photography. A good example of an autumn forest is images of graceful mossy trees, hazy vistas, and bright colors of autumn leaves.

In fact, everything turns out to be too simple, with hackneyed plots.

But there was no need to imagine perfect images that don't exist in our area.

But we have something like this, imperfect, but real!

There is another good saying: it's good where we are not. It also works for photographers.

You look at pictures of mountains, nature reserves, the wild north and remote places and admire.

But under my nose the forest is faceless, unaesthetic.

But someone doesn't even have such a forest, and he will admire even such a forest!

And not only about the forest...about any plots and types. Everything that is everyday and familiar to the eye seems only to us, and to those who have never seen it, it will be interesting for them.

I keep saying this: you need to photograph even things that seem completely banal and boring.

It's boring for you, but maybe not for someone else.

It is clear that there must be at least some kind of plot and you need to try and strive to create something interesting and unusual as much as possible.

I didn't want to publish this October forest at all.

I didn't like the pictures right after the shoot.

But later I saw something in them and decided to show them.

It often happens to me when, in my opinion, a boring and banal shot than is firing on all indicators.
