Seems we hit storm season as they just keep floating around the region. Yesterday morning IT moved in from the east and spat just a couple drops at us over the morning.

It made for a much cooler day but it was rather humid.

It's a regular game of hide and seek with the squash and I have to look carefully so as not to miss one which would very quickly turn to a case of elephantiasis.

The Dragon Suhyo cucumbers are crazy. They get super long, will grow really straight, and are coated in spines.

This is arriving today. I have wanted a Flipper Zero for a while but refuse to spend $200 on one. This little computer has almost all the same capabilities but for less than a 1/4 of the price. I have oodles of sensors from the Arduino that will work just fine with this and I found a few cases I can 3dprint for it. The use cases are still being built for it but I plan to couple it with my Mesh devices and possibly with an Arduino or Pi.

First load was 33.25 pounds of the yellow spuds from the ex-pole garden.

The boys went over to their friend's house again and I rode them across the highway then had the afternoon to work uninterrupted.

I had to search around but finally found the cylinder numbering for the engine. I had called earlier in the morning and the place in Post Falls will be able to do the turning of the crank. With that I am taking all the pistons so they can ensure the rods are all still good. I had to number the box to make sure the correct one will go back in the correct cylinder. I will take the parts over Monday morning.

Back out for more I dug the second 18ft long row of the yellow which gave me 34.25 pounds.

They got washed and laid out on the cardboard on the deck.

The boys were about to head for home as@stryeyz was on her way home so she went over and picked them up to bring them home. I kept on the spuds but this time went back to the reds. I pulled the side of the plastic up and got the ends of 3 rows dug.

I also fished along the sides of the plants to fill the second basket which gave me 36 pounds and 103.5 pounds for the day.

Today I have harvests to get to first then I have to get the engine parts sorted and put in the truck out of the way, more potatoes to dig, tilling to do, greenhouse needs attention, and I have to try and beat my shoulder into submission as this this is getting REALLY old.
