Up far too early yesterday morning, as per the usual. Got to scroll through the various times as the sun slowly rose.

Well over a half an inch of rain overnight.

Got the boys to school and had a nice clear start to the day.

Did a print of this magnetic clip. Ran PLA to start and try the print. It got done about 8:30 and I tried the magnets I had but they weren't strong enough.

I headed into the Fly Shop to show Kris the pics of my first fish caught on my new rod. Also asked about a fly that I have about 30 identical ones and was given a fly to try.

I need this book for damned sure!

The reel real reason I went was to find a [pair of waterproof gloves and damn did I hit the mark. These are KILLER and work like a charm. They fit nice and snug and allow for really good dexterity. I LOVE The runes the Fly Project uses!

The magnets were just not the right size so I have a pack of 12mmx3mm coming that will stack 2 in each side which should make them strong enough to hold my net to my side without it falling off constantly.

Got smart and rode my bike over to the river. It's only a few hundred yards but still, why waste time walking?

Ended up getting a bit warm with my fleece on as the sun was shining on the water in places. I used the same fly from the prior day and again on the second cast down stream I caught an nice rainbow trout.

The first one was the biggest at about 10 inches and about half a pound. It fought nicely and I let it go back into the river.

The next rainbow was a bit smaller about 10 minutes later.

Then a few minutes after this tiny little guy grabbed the fly. It was so small it was sardine like. Little bud needs a lot more time to grow and this was likely an early lesson for it.

It was after 11 and I packed up and headed back to the house.

The clouds were looking rather nice and the winds were just right for flight, but the concert negated that option.

I hadn't seen this before. I like it!

It's crazy how full the place gets for any concert/event at the elementary school.

We sat in the back row which gave us perfect view for when R came in with his class.

The order was a little off but they did all the program.

This little light with all the kids with LED tea lights.

Boys got home from school and R got to play his digital all afternoon for his bday. The sunset was amazing and I managed to catch it through the tree

RIP Ozzy. Watched his final sets again.

For dinner I made REAL mac n cheese. This requires a milk, slat pepper mustard powder worchestererer sauce corn starch then cheddar cheese.

Proper mac n cheese. Too bad I didn't remember the Panko to top it... Still stupid delicious and R was super stoked for it for his bday dinner at home.

Went to ABS to print out the new magnet parts. They fit WAY better than the PLA did and will withstand being outside.

The magnets arrive tomorrow likely and I printed out a plate of them over night so will have about 8 sets when finished.

Up a bit later this morning but in time to watch the PDC. The plate of parts is done and needs trimming, @stryeyz and the boys go to the craft fair this morning where hopefully she makes tons of sales, I'll go fish again while they are doing that, then this afternoon will take R to town to choose his bday gift and then go out to dinner.
