Beautiful Blue Color of the mediteranean Sea in Greece

Back in June this year I spend 2 Weeks in Greece for my summer holiday this year. It was really nice and I enjoyed the hot weather with bathing in the mediteranean sea very much. The color of the sea is really beautiful there, this blue is so special and probably the blue of the greek flag is derived from this beautiful blue color of the sea there. I enjoyed several hours of swimming in the sea and also stayed several hours in the sun there, this provided me with at least 1 sunburn eventhough I used sun protector on my skin. But when staying the whole day on the beach with swimming in the sea this can happen very easily.
When I visited Italy and Croatia earlier this year the color of the mediteranean sea was not so beautiful blue than here in greece but a lot more grey. Thats why I probably prefer the sea here in greece to the one in Italy and Croatia. Of cours Croatia and Italy have their own charme and it is also always very nice visiting these countries.
