Hello, Hive Community! ✨

These photos capture the enduring spirit of

(also known as the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene) on October 31, 2025. This church holds the miraculous Jesús Nazareno, a dark statue of Jesus Christ that is the object of profound devotion.

It was a significant day, a Friday, the last of the month, and Halloween. Yet, beyond any occasion, this place is always teeming with people, its doors open to the faithful every day.

The Black Nazarene has been a cornerstone of my faith. This church has been my refuge in moments of trouble and my first destination whenever I had a serious plea.
You might call me a passionately crazy believer, and I would agree! In my heart, I know that every earnest prayer I have whispered here has been answered.

Today, however, my visit was different. It was the first time I went there since I am living in Manila in the Philippines again. I didn't come with a list of requests. I came with a heart full of gratitude, to simply say "thank you" for the abundant blessings I already have in my life!

And now just enjoy the photos of my beloved Quiapo Church!
