Yesterday afternoon, I had the opportunity to try ALTERA from @vsc.network for the first time thanks to a post on X where they were giving away HIVE tokens to try out and make some transactions.
I liked the first home screen of the ALTERA site. It's very impressive at first glance to see the VSC logo and the option to log in with your Hive account and any EVM wallet.
Among the compatible wallets are more than 460, including the best known ones such as Metamask, WalletConect, and Brave wallet, but if you click on “all wallets” to see the rest, almost all of them are there. The Bitso Web3 caught my attention; it would be very interesting to move Hive or HBD around there. It would be like Bitso accepting HIVE and HBD, well, that's my idea.
The first thing you need to be able to use ALTERA is HBD held within VSC so that it generates resource credits and you can carry out your transactions smoothly.
The operations or actions that can be performed are in the upper left corner of the screen. For now, you can receive and send HIVE and HBD, but this gives us a clear idea of the goal of this great project, which is Zero Fees using Chains where before it was hell just to think about Fees, such as ETH Mainnet.
Personally, I imagine that in the future, ALTERA will be able to connect with apps such as Chipipay, where you can pay for services in Mexico but with EVM Wallet tokens. This would be a big step forward in adoption because you could even pay for basic services such as water, electricity, and internet.

), where I stream on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and together with the audience, we were testing ALTERA. Some of the attendees took some HIVE.
My experience both depositing and withdrawing was good. Everything is very intuitive, although when withdrawing from VSC to Hive Mainnet, the Matamask wallet appeared to confirm the transaction. I confirmed it, waited, and it didn't go through. I had to repeat the operation several times until I succeeded.
It is clear to me that the project is still in progress, and these issues will surely be improved. It would also be great to have a message or window that tells you whether your transaction was successful or not.
But it was fun, we were all very happy, and almost everyone got some $HIVE sent through ETH Mainnet with zero fees at any time of day thanks to ALTERA and VSCNetwork. No more searching for low gwei times.

La tarde de ayer tuve la oportunidad de probar por primera vez ALTERA de @vsc.network gracias a un post en X donde estaban dando giveaway de tokens HIVE para probar y hacer algunas transacciones.

Me ha gustado la primera pantalla de inicio del sitio de ALTERA, es muy impactante de primera vista mirar el logo de VSC y la opción de hacer login con tu cuenta de Hive y con alguna wallet EVM.

Entre las wallets que tiene como compatibles están mas de 460 incluyendo las mas conocidas como Metamask, WalletConect o Brave wallet, pero si le das a all wallets para ver el resto están casi todas, me llamó la atención la de Bitso Web3 sería muy interesante mover por ahí Hive o HBD, sería como que Bitso por fin acepte HIVE y HBD, bueno esa es mi idea.

Lo primero que se necesita para poder usar ALTERA es HBD solo holdeado dentro de VSC para que genere Créditos de recursos y puedas hacer con fluidez tus transacciones.

Las operaciones o acciones que se pueden hacer están en la esquina superior izquierda de la pantalla, por ahora puedes recibir y enviar HIVE y HBD pero esto nos da una idea clara del objetivo de este gran proyecto, que es Zero Fees usando Cadenas donde antes era un infierno solo pensar en Fees, como ETH Mainnet.

En lo personal imagino que ALTERA en un futuro se pueda conectar con apps como Chipipay donde se pueden pagar servicios en México pero con token de Wallets EVM, esto sería un gran paso en adopción porque se podría pagar incluso servicios básicos como el agua y el servicio de electricidad e internet.

Cuando lo del giveaway sucedió yo estaba en stream en mi canal de Twitch donde hago streams lunes, miércoles y viernes y a junto con la audiencia estuvimos probando ALTERA algunos de los asistentes se llevaron algunos HIVE.

Mi experiencia tanto depositando como retirando fue buena, todo es muy intuitivo aunque al retirar de VSC hacia Hive Mainnet aparecía la wallet de Matamask para confirmar la transacción la confirmaba, esperaba y no se mandaba, tuve que repetir la operación varias veces hasta lograrla.

Me queda claro que el proyecto esta en proceso esos tiempos seguro se irán mejorando o también estaría genial un mensaje o una ventana que te diga que tu transacción salió bien o salió mal estaría genial.

Pero fue divertido todos estuvimos muy contentos y casi todos se llevaron algo de $HIVE mandado a través de ETH Mainnet con Zero Fees a cualquier hora del día gracias a ALTERA y VSCNetwork, no mas buscar mas la hora del gwei bajo.
