Reviewing My Indoors Plant Collection

I know this should be a garden community, but I call it my indoor garden. There is not much gardening to do outside in Estonia this time of year when we have below-zero temperatures and a snow cover.
I do have quite an amount of indoor plants which some are new. I thought it would be interesting to show you what I have and try to grow currently.
Starting off with cacti. I love succulents and love to buy all the different ones I find in the stores. The thing is, I can't go overboard, so I have nowhere to put them. Currently, I have 3 of those. Well actually 4, but one is not here.
This one I got about 2 months ago. Extremely spiky and stingy, slow growing but I like how it looks. I had to get it when I saw it in the store.

Both of these cacti you see here are native to Mexico and Central America. Also in the southwestern USA.
The second one I have here looks a bit sad and without a pot currently. I took it out because I overwatered it and the cacti itself got very soft, which is bad. Being without a pot dries it out faster, and hopefully the plant survives.

The third succulent is Aloe Juvenna, and this is native to eastern Africa. I have had it for almost a year. It was much shorter when I got it and has at least doubled its height since I got it. The second, smaller one in this pot was very little and now looks like a grown plant already.

This is a money tree. The largest plant I have and have had for 2 years. Since I got it, it has almost tripled in height. Native to central and southern America. In nature, it grows in swampy and wet areas and grows up to 18 meters tall. I recently repotted it to a larger pot because the roots grew out of the last pot.

Tricolor Tradescantia. I have also had it for about 2 years. It barely reached the table when I got it, and now it likes to crawl along the surface. I have cut off some ports and replanted those into the pot. It regrows roots well like this. Native to central and southern America.

Here is a new one I got. I had not seen a plant like this before and couldn't leave the plant store without getting this one. It's a ponytail palm. Native to Eastern Mexico, it can mainly be found in semi-deserts. There were larger ones in the store, but they were very expensive. I got the smaller one, and hopefully I can manage to grow it larger myself. It's a very slow-growing plant, but it can look like a beautiful tree at some point.
It can also bloom, but it is very rare and usually happens in nature only. It needs to be repotted soon because the roots want to come out from below the pot.

Here is another new one I got with the palm. This is an Aphelandra Squarosa or Zebra plant. I also had never seen this one before and wanted to get it. Especially because I got it very cheaply for 50% off. It's native to Brazil. Usually grows in the rainforest. The plant is extremely sensitive to any change. A couple of days ago, I left it in the sun while we had a sunny day. It does not want direct sunshine, but it got it through the window. The soil was also dry.
When I came back home, all the leaves were drooping. It happened in 10 hours when I was gone. I quickly watered it, and believe it or not. The leaves lifted up in 30 minutes, basically rising in real time before my eyes. Now it's back to normal.
It bloomed before I got it. I hope I can see it again, it grows a large yellow flower on it.

Lastly, this one. It's a dragon tree. Native to the Canary Islands, Madeira, and western Morocco. It's in bad shape. It had extensive cold damage. I cut off most of the damaged leaves, but it still has more brown spots. I got it from my mother, who wanted to throw it away. It sat outside in the cold for a while. I decided to try and save it and brought it to my place before the freeze set in.
I don't know if this can be saved, but it's possible. The pot is too large and I need to repot it to a smaller one.

When I made a plant post in the past then I showed you one of the palm trees I had. It unfortunately died in the summer because it dried out too much while I was gone for a while.
I will make an update post of my plants sometime in the next year and review how my plants have evolved.
Do you have a lot of indoor plants in your home?
