| Notes | This is La Materia poteva Non Esserci and is a sculpture you can find by the side of the road in Northern Sicily, which of course is in a south of Italy. It is by Pietro Consagra. and is right the the bottom of a giant motorway. And how is it forgotten, how almost 12 months on when I've made maybe 40 or 50 posts about my trip to Italy is this photo still on my computer sitting unposted? I mean I like the photo, I like the artwork, I even remember the day we went to see it, the first of the larger art trail and the wonder and the feeling of accomplishment you get from finding something new on holiday, the thing you know few people bother to chase done. so why wasn't it posted until now - who knows I'm a mystery. |
