Movie review : Audrey's children 2025

Recently, I decided that as a lover of movies and the fact that I watch and download a lot of both Nigerian and American movies I would take it upon myself to you always create content on them by reviewing the movies on the hive blockchain.

Just yesterday I watching the beautiful crafted movie titled Audrey's children produced in 2025 and I was determined to write something about it today because it had something to do with the story of a female doctor who had sympathy and love for children especially those who had cancer as an oncologist.

She was so passionate about her job and her patience Who were children because she was a pediatric oncologist Who job was to care and employ chemotherapy on children with neuroblastoma cancer.

Brief summary of the movie

Doctor Audrey was transferred to you and Hospital where she was meant to treat cancer patients who were children. Not that she refers to this kids as her children because of how passionate and caring she is to their cause. At a point, she became so passionate that she formulated an idea that would save children from death due to the neuroblastoma cancer.

It was entirely difficult to carry out this research because the hospital had refused funding at first but we have persistent and consistent proposals she was allowed to try out her new research. The Old research is one that allows for a dose of chemotherapy to be administered to the child but she noticed that no matter the treatment given children and up dying.

Then she came up with the idea after vigorous research and practicals done that employing double dose of chemotherapy can eradicate cancer. At the end, she was successful and raised the rate of successful cancer patients who were treated totally by 80%.

In the movie, at some point there was the issue of gender and professional barriers. As a woman of medicine in a male dominated environment because Audrey was the only woman amongst other oncologists in the hospital and it's became difficult in a way for her to make a headway. Some people even blasted her research on the staging system she introduced to counter neuroblastoma.

Again, we see that Dr Audrey was not just an ordinary doctor but one that had compassionate care about both the cancer patients and their families because she can relate with the emotional pain and financial body in its places on them. At one point in the movie she advocated for provision of free housing so as to support family members who travel far and wide so as not to incur financial debt in staying in hotels.
