Dropped Off My Grandmother To Her House in Lapu-lapu City

It really feels nostalgic that just before I was just the young child waiting for my uncle's ride but now, I am that aunt that has the car and sends off my relatives wherever they want to go.

Last night, we dropped my grandmother of to Lapu-lapu City to where her house is situated. She used to live with us at our hometown in Caduawan, Tabogon, Cebu and she wanted to go home to her house in Lapu-lapu so we send her off just as she requested.

My grandmother used to lived in her small house my mother built for her because she got into a heart attack and bringing her to the province was the best option because let's all admit, the air in the province is way cleaner and fresher than those from urban areas. That is why she agreed to stay.

But I guess, you will always go back to places that makes you feel much more at home and at ease, and for her, it is her house in Lapu-lapu City. From our hometown in Caduawan, Tabogon, Cebu we traveled almost four hours to get her back home in her house in Lapu-lapu City.

We checked out at 8:00 in the evening and we arrived in her house almost 12:00 am in the midnight. We stayed for just about thirty minutes because we had to head back home.

STARBUCKS-PUSOK,LAPU-LAPU CITY

Before we head home, we drived thru at Starbucks Pusok, Lapu-lapu branch which was open 24 hours and was not that long when it opened.

We used to live here at Lapu-lapu City and seeing the city improve and be filled with new establishments is such a bliss. We had to get ourselves our coffee since this is 12:00am and we need to travel another four hours and we need caffeine to get us energized for the long ride.

As we hit the road, we began to feel hungry, so we ate some midnight snacks at the newly opened Mcdonalds in Consolacion.

This was at 1:00 am and there were no other customers, just us.

We got so hungry since we have been hitting the road for four hours then another four hours since we are on our way home.

My son ordered his favorite foods and we ordered ours too. It is such a relief being able to eat after such a tiring day.

After our midnight snack, we continue hitting the road and we reached home at about 3:30 am since the roads were clear and there was no traffic at all.
