There's always a memorable experience in our childhood that up to this day we can't forget. That's what I want to share with you today.

Last Wednesday, just a usual day for me and my little family. I went to school and did my teacher duties. I, of course brought with me my daughter because her school is just beside our school too.

I purposely enrolled her there so it would be more convenient for us. She comes with so my husband doesn't have to worry about her during school days. He can focus in taking care of our 5 months old son.

So yes, going back. The other day, while waiting for my husband came to fetch us and classes were done I played a little with my daughter, Yashfeen.

Initially she was just running around playing with a flower she found in the school ground. It's the santan flower. I don't know what it's called in your local but here in our place we call it that way.

When I saw her picking the flower and throwing some I thought she's kind of wasting it. So I grabbed her attention and called her. Told her about something I usually do with this flower when I was younger.

I showed her how I do it. I picked one flower and removed it's end and brought it to her mouth. She smiled a little and said it's yummy. She tasted the flowers nectar!

Tasting the nectar from this santan flower is one of my childhood memories. Not just that, I also make bracelets and necklace from this. I remove them from the main stalk and then just connect each other and form a circle. If not I use a thread and a needle and have it tied. Voila! I already have my DIY accessories.

Looking back, this flower has a really wonderful part in my childhood. And that day I thought I have to share it with my daughter. May be she will learn to appreciate it's fun too!
