Monomad: Feeling the Power of Goa's Monsoon Waves

With the weather clearing up ahead of the race, we went to mark the route yesterday. We've now received permission from the Forest Department. Five hours have passed since we started marking the route, and then it starts raining again before evening. We don't wait for the rain to stop and mark the route in the pouring rain.

Since we're in Goa, and there's water everywhere, we're on the road along the coast. A few boats are visible in the distance, belonging to fishermen who have received permission to fish once the weather clears.

Walking into the sea is strictly prohibited, as the government has issued a red alert. The Coast Guard is closely monitoring the beach to prevent any accidents. Watching the rapidly rolling waves is both a bit scary and fun. The sea brings many things to the shore.

Crows flying through the air are carrying dead fish, washed ashore by the waves, into their talons, so they can sit and eat them in comfort. When the waves come in, the water reaches my knees, and I feel the force of the water as it recedes. It feels as if it wants to take me into the sea with it.

This is my entry for #monomad challenge.
