It is probably one of the nightmare I have encountered so far the I almost lost my accounts through a hacking incident but by the mercy of God, I survive to tell the story so you can learn from this experience and how you can avoid it by adding extra safety measure that some of us missing.

I have posted this way back in September because the incident happened on September 24, the hacker manage to steal the liquid Hive kept on my account @fatimajunio and @edward23 with transaction IDs that was sent to MXC exchanger.

In total there is 334 Hive that was stolen from our accounts, but I am still hopeful to retrieve it however the MEXC exchanger is asking for a police email to take action on this matter. I have a filed a complaint already in the Cyber Crime but still they are insisting that they need the cooperation of the police.

Maybe there are MEXC officer who can hear my message, please could you help me retrieve my stolen funds that was sent to your exchanger.

In the coming post, I will try to explain how we can able avoid this scenario.
