okay so my name is Samuel, my hive username is @hiventhusiast, I am many things and one of them is a pastry chef, I love to bake and to cook, it's one of those child fantasy I grew up with and it has stuck with me over the years, in it I find my essence, I find joy and most importantly I find ways to express my creativity on these things....so it's just me doing what I love and loving what I do shall we?....
So without a further or due lets begin....

THE MAKING OF A ZEBRA CAKE
First of all, Zebra cake is oil-based cake like red velvet and not butter-based like the regular vanilla cake and others, secondly zebra cake doesn't mean you would see a long necked animal ontop of the cake, like I did, zebra cake means you will get the zebra design and look on the inside of your cake, that zebra pattern will be there, so that means we have to prepare two different cakes here, vanilla (oil-based) and chocolate cake (oil-based) using cocoa powder not the original chocolate cake because of what we want to achieve we make do with cocoa powder instead...
Zebra cake Recipe
Oil.................250gm
sugar............2 cups
flour ...........4 cups
vanilla..........2 caps
milk emulsion....2 caps
evaporated milk...150gm
white vinegar.........200gm
cocoa powder ........200gm
Browning ............... drops as desired

the making of oil-based vanilla cake
measure one full cup of oil into your mixing bowel, add 1/2 + 1/4 cup of sugar
add 2 eggs for every one cup of oil measured.
prepare your butter milk, this is essential for all your oil-based cakes.

[How To prepare your butter milk solution...]

pour your evaporated milk into a small plate add 1/2 cup of white vinegar allow for a minute or so ..

your sugar, oil and egg are mixed thoroughly now
then add
2 caps full of alcohol
1 partially-full cap of sobric acid
2 cap of dark vanilla extract
add 1/2 of your butter milk mixture
1 cap of milk emulsion
1/2 tsp of salt
mixed thoroughly
add 2 cups of all purpose flour in a separate bowel
add baking soda separately use white vinegar to reduce the strength of it,
add 1/3 + 1/4 of hot water observe the barter should be very light and fluffy...

the making of chocolate cake
measure one cup of pure vegetable oil into your mixing bowel
add one cup of sugar because of the cocoa powder
add two eggs
cream with your mixer
measure two cups of flour
add 2 tbsp of cocoa powder to the measured flour
add 2 cap of dark vanilla extract to liquid mixture (above)
add 1 cap of alcohol
add 1 cap of sobric acid
add 1/2 buttermilk stire (all to liquid mixture)
then add your flour mixture and cream
add 1/2 tbsp baking soda dilute with white vinegar stire and add to your mixture
add 1/2 tsp of salt
stire
add Browning according to preference
add 1/2 +1/4 of hot water

And here comes the Zebra design patterning ...
grease your pan with butter then use flour to dust the pan...

bring both your chocolate cake barter and vanilla cake barter closer, you will scoop them alternatively into the pan, ensure you use two separate spoon for the each, scoop two spoon full of chocolate cake barter and two spoonful of vanilla cake barter, then alternate both till its okay then continue same in another baking pan...

put in oven under very low heat, bake till you percieve the scent of your baked cake then check if it's ready.....

cut in half to see the zebra design like this, your zebra cake is ready and yummilicious....
