It's another amazing week, and you know what that means - it's the 13th edition of the weekly prompt to spark your creativity and get those ideas flowing in. Hive Student Connect is a community where students on Hive share their blogs. It is a vibrant space for Hive students to engage, learn, connect, and collaborate to grow and develop.

Whether you are currently a student or have already finished school, you are welcome to share your perspective.

This is your chance to express yourself and connect with others in the community.

Do you agree that a picture is worth a thousand words? Yes, it does. Pictures have a way of telling stories that words can’t always express. Have you scrolled through your gallery and then found a picture you took, then it catapults you into the past, and you start to reminisce about those beautiful moments? Many of us still have pictures from years ago and that’s because they serve as memories to us.

This prompt is all about sharing that one picture from your school life and telling us the story behind it. It could be a snapshot of your lecture hall, your favourite meal on campus, a group of friends, etc.

What was the situation like then? Why did you take the picture? When did you snap it? Why is it still in your photo gallery? Would you be sad if it were lost forever?

The aim is to let your picture inspire your words. Tell us the emotions or lessons that connected to the moment. For instance, "This picture reminded me of when I had nothing to eat that day, and as I walked through the corners of the street, I found a hungry man begging for food, and that made me grateful because I was not starving; I was only hungry at that time."

Use your photo as a starting point to express yourself. You don’t have to describe everything in detail, especially the part you feel like not disclosing (we sure do understand how privacy is important to you). We only want to know the feeling and lesson you got from it. Remember, your image is your voice. Let it speak through your words.

• Be original, post a minimum of 300 words.

• Share your entry link in our Discord channel, mention three people you supported as you share your link in Discord (This is compulsory).
