A person who ran a massive Inn asked Wraithvine, Gikka, and the small dragon hiding in the guise of a brownie to please bless the Inn with protections. The Innkeeper never charged the poor for food and shelter, but did their best to help, but the local rich lord was getting VERY angry about this. -- The New Guy

[AN: Bibrid disguised himself as a Gnome]

"I could deal with the lord permanently," offered Gikka. She made a gesture close to her neck. "One of their replacements has got to be better than that."

"Murder is the solution of absolute last resort," chided Wraithvine."We would rather educate and improve."

"What is the actual problem?" asked Bibrid. "Why does your local lord object?"

The answer was workhouses and sweatshops, where the desperate poor were pressed to make things for less than they'd pay people on a professional level. All run by the local lord's friend group. While giving charity to the desperate wasn't illegal, it was getting reduced on the basis of what was allowed and what was not.

Temples and places devoted to the gods were still allowed to give benevolence to the desperate. To do otherwise was to incite rioting or revolts.

"The problem contains its solution," said Gikka. "Rename this place a Temple of Two Kind Hands."

"I can even ordain you," said Wraithvine. "Can't beat the blessing of the god responsible for the faith."

Bibrid volunteered, "I'll work on the protection runes. This place will stand past the end of the world by the time I'm done." And there was nothing like the claw or scales of a Dragon for imbuing magic into runes.

They'd be teaching the Lord and their friends at a later date.
