Experience teach us the best lesson

We started to learn lessons since we came to the world, and we keep learning till the time of our death. Many people think that learning is something that is related to study, and we learn things from school, which is a wrong idea. It’s true that we can learn many things from schools, especially most of the formal lessons we learn from school, and it’s just a part of our total life lessons. Most of the lessons we learn from life experience, and that’s why it says that experience is the best teacher, and I also agree with the statement.

I have been in this world for more than 27 years, and during that time, I have gathered many experiences, and those experiences are very valuable to me. Experience taught me many important lessons, and those lessons from the experiences guided me to live a better life and helped me not to repeat the same mistakes. Let me share the experiences that taught me the most important lessons.

May was about 10 to 12 years ago, and at that time, I was a high school student. As I didn’t come from a rich family, I never had a ton of money, and in case of providing financial help, I had no chance. In that time, I went to the village. One of my aunts gave me 10$ as a gift for a reason, and I was very happy about it. At that time, one of my close friends asked me for 5$. When I was in village, he never asked me for such kind of help, and when for the first time he asked for such kind of help, I didn’t refuse. My mother said not to do so, but I insisted. He promised to return the money within 2 weeks, and I trusted him as he was my close friend. He didn’t return the money to me on the fixed date. I thought he might have financial issues and so I didn’t ask for money. After one month, I asked him for money, and he was delayed 3 times. After that, he told his brother to make online transactions to me, and I believed it. He was doing drama, and I didn’t get it at first. When I realized it, I felt very bad because I never expected it from him, as he was my close friend. I felt like I was begging for money from him, and I felt guilty asking him for money so many times. So, later, I lost hope, and I never asked for the money. It was a lesson for me that even a close person can betray a little money, and in the case of money, no one can be trusted unless. In that time, I was easy going and I left him, but if in that time I had the mentality like no,w I would collect my money for sure even if I needed to humiliate him. Maybe at that time I was a very good person a cared for such nonsense friendship.

It was also an incident 7/8 years ago while I was staying in one of my distant relative’s houses for study purposes. There, I faced some issues, and the matter was against the aunt where I was staying. I thought I should share it with my parents as they have the right to know what’s going on with me. As I was staying there, I told my parents to keep it secret because if it is revealed, the situation might get worse for me. I entrusted my parents for the secret. Unfortunately, my father told the aunt about it. I know he must have a good reason for it, and he might say it for my good, but I didn’t like it. I didn’t know what good it was for me, but it put me in a difficult position. Although I could overcome the situation, I learned a lesson. The lesson was that our secrets are safe only when secrets remain within us. Nobody can be fully trusted in that case. From that one incident, I don’t share any of my secrets with anyone. Not even with my parents unless it’s necessary to let them know. You may say I am a little bit harsh towards my parents, but that’s the reality, and I have seen such kinds of cases in others also. So if one needs to keep any secret safe, there should not be a second person who knows the secret.
