A Special Teachers’ Day and a Peaceful Weekend at Home

I'm Awais Ali (@ismartboy ). Today is a very special day for me because it's World Teachers Day. It's time to thank all the teachers who guided, supported and inspired me throughout the journey. I'm thankful to one my favorite teacher Respected Sir Muhammad Jaffar for believing in me always.

I'm proud to be a teacher since last two years. I teach History and Geography in a girls high school. There was very excitement among students from Teachers Day celebrations but 5th October is on Sunday. The school administration allowed students to celebrate the teachers day on Friday.

These were the adorable gifts that I received by my students. Love and respect reflected by the note they wrote on cards.

I'm grateful to all the kind words shared by my students.

I'm feeling emotional as well proud to be a teacher.

Today, It took me around 2 hours to read notes that my students share on the cards. They poured love and respect in their words. I never received so cute cards before. They gifted me around 200 packs of Dairy Milk Chocolate that I returned them but yet I have few packs.

To enjoy weekend, I am reached to my village home. I glad to see Bitter Guard vegetables ripen on the roof garden. It hardly took two months to grow this vegetable.

There are Okra plants too. Actually, my Mom likes organic farming and she used to plant different veggies and fruit plants. You must have watch orange and guava trees in my previous blogs.

There were two Mango Tree Plants. I have to replant them anywhere else from the rooftop because it might slower their growth.

I cherish little joys of village life i.e breathing into fresh air, watering plants, meeting my relatives and eating boiling corn with mix spices. Yummmm!!!!

I love this calm and peaceful life but I have to head back to city because tomorrow is Monday.
