At the Mountain Music Fest on the Divcibare mountain in Serbia

Hello everyone and hello for the first time to all members of the #FestivalMania community. As a big fan of the festivals, as soon as I saw this community, I was happy and immediately organized my photos and impressions from the festival I was a month ago, to share them here with you.

It's the Mountain Music Fest, popularly called MMF in my country, which has been held every year for the past 10 years on the Divcibare mountain in Serbia. It is a festival of music, art and nature, a perfect combination that guarantees that you will always feel good there.

What is especially important to me is that the festival is family-friendly because I have small kids, so it's great for me when they can have fun and everyone is satisfied then. 😊 Children and pets are also welcome at MMF and you can be completely carefree and free.

Freedom follows you every step of the way at this festival. In the forest and in all areas of the festival on paths that you choose and make yourself.

This festival is visited by relaxed people who don't like to rush, enjoy music and care about the environment.
This year, the company I work for was a sponsor of the festival and we organized some educational activities for the children.

It was especially interesting to navigate through the forest with the dogs that the children adored.

In addition to our activities, there were also other activities for children such as archery, orienteering, various puzzles, coloring, etc. My kids had a great time.

While they played some educational games, I danced Cuban dance while watching the dance instructors demonstrate the steps. It was so good! I realized that I really like Latin dance and everything Latin! 😊

When my children finished playing, we went to the main stage to listen to the musicians who had performed that evening. We arrived just when a band that we really love, Porto Morto from Croatia, started playing. They are very good and make quality music.

My kids wanted to get as close to them as possible, so they made their way to the first row and from there listened to them and enjoyed their favorite songs.

After the band Porto Morto, the band Vizelj from Serbia performed, which is also very good. In the meantime, it started to rain, but that didn't bother us. On the contrary, it was even more fun, especially for my kids. When you are in the fresh air in nature, nothing is difficult or a problem for you, not summer rain either.

We arrived at the festival around 4 in the afternoon and already around 8 it got a little colder and the children wanted to go home, so we soon left.

At that moment, they had already become a bit annoying, so it was no longer possible to stay because of them. I was sad that we could not stay for the screening of the film in the summer cinema, which showed one of the films that the company where I work restored in order to save it from oblivion. That restoration was done as part of a project in which we restored a lot of domestic cult films and thus preserved the cultural heritage for future generations.

With fresh mountain air, starry skies, and a great atmosphere, every performance at Divcibare felt even more special. Daytime was for exploration and relaxation, while nights were reserved for dancing under the open sky. The festival lasted 3 days.

The diversity of the lineup ensured that there was something for everyone. Workshops, food corners, and chill zones added to the balance, giving visitors a chance to connect, recharge, and simply enjoy the moment. We went home full of great impressions and are sure that we will be here next year as well.

Thank you for reading.
Jelena
