Harley Quinn Cosplay, all weapons are fake.

My friend and model, Jules Dove, wanted to cosplay Harley Quinn and I was so completely down to collaborate on this photoshoot. We decided east Austin had the vibe we were going for. So we met up and shot at any cool place we could find in east Austin. We started near the train tracks on 5th street and continued from there.
Eventually we stumbled on this super cool building that had "give up" spray painted on the front door. The building looked like it had been abandoned for months or even years. The paint was peeling off, windows were broken, and graffiti everywhere. Even nature was starting to take back the property with vines growing up the walls. This is what we were looking for the entire time. We ended up shooting around the building until sunset.
This was my first cosplay shoot and I think it went pretty well! When styling any photoshoot you always have to think about what you want to portray, who this person is, and what their intentions are. Cosplay already gives you that character and you're able to make your own interpretation of who they are. Expressing feeling and emotion through clothing is something I am always paying attention to when planning a photoshoot.
