Luego de casi un año sin venir a escribir por acá, he vuelto, estoy feliz de volver a compartir con ustedes la magia de mis creaciones. Han sido unos días interesantes a nivel familiar, ya les iré contando en medio del resultado de mis puntadas que les iré mostrando.

After almost a year without writing here, I'm back. I'm happy to share the magic of my creations with you once again. It's been an interesting few days for the family. I'll be sharing the results of my stitches with you as I go.

Hoy les comparto la blusa que usé para mi cumpleaños del año pasado, amé este resultado tejido en una gama de colores pasteles de ensueño. Llegar a esta combinación no fue tan sencillo, estuve entretenida en la selección de los hilos por varias horas, hasta que con el apoyo de mi sobrina amada, logramos la combinación perfecta.

Today I'm sharing the blouse I wore for my birthday last year. I loved the result, woven in a dreamy array of pastel colors. Coming up with this combination wasn't so easy; I spent several hours selecting the yarns until, with the help of my beloved niece, we found the perfect combination.

Los hilos con que he tejido esta pieza tienen un valor sentimental profundo y especial, estos hilos forman parte de la herencia que me dejó mi entrañable hermana, llevar puesta esta pieza es como sentir el abrazo de mi hermana, la magia que producen los hilos es indescriptible e ilimitada, simplemente es magia de amor, magia maravillosa.

The threads with which I wove this piece have a deep and special sentimental value. These threads are part of the inheritance that my beloved sister left me. Wearing this piece is like feeling my sister's hug. The magic that the threads produce is indescribable and unlimited; it is simply the magic of love, wonderful magic.

Esta pieza inicia por la parte superior, con el inicio se va formando el canesú a medida que se avanza en el tejido, cada vez que terminaba de tejer vuelta mi emoción iba en aumento y cada vez que cambiaba un color quería terminar la pieza para verla completada.

This piece starts at the top, with the beginning the yoke is formed as the knitting progresses, every time I finished knitting the round my excitement increased and every time I changed a color I wanted to finish the piece to see it completed.

Luego de que es completado el canesú y la parte del cuerpo hasta la cintura, pasé a tejer las mangas, lo cual no fue como el patrón de la artista, le dejé mi toque personal.

Para esta labor tuve que acudir a mi experiencia de tejedora, ya que el hilo que usó la tejedora es más grueso, lo cual me llevó a aumentar los puntos de inicio y las vueltas para llegar al objetivo de seguir en gran medida el patrón.

After completing the yoke and the waistband, I moved on to knitting the sleeves. These were not exactly the same as the artist's pattern; I added my own personal touch.

For this project, I had to draw on my knitting experience, as the yarn she used is thicker. This led me to increase the starting stitches and rows to achieve the goal of largely following the pattern.

Ese día de mi cumpleaños lucí mi blusa, me sentía muy orgullosa del resultado. Me hice una pequeña sesión de fotos, en la cual incluí una torta también tejida por mi. Es que el tejido engalana todos mis espacios, eso es absolutamente fascinante.

That birthday, I wore my blouse; I was so proud of the result. I did a little photoshoot, which included a cake I also knitted. Knitting adorns every space, and it's absolutely fascinating.
