Eating out at a fancy restaurant : My experience

Welcome to my blog.

This is my first time posting in the eating out community.
Even when I planned to make a post a few months ago for the December contest.

One of the reasons why I didn't get to is because I don't really like eating out and their food are expensive.
I prefer going to a place recommended by a friend and since I have a very few friends in the current city I am who eats out it was very hard for me to.

We are here now.
I still couldn't have made this post,if not for what I am currently passing through.

I travelled to my hometown and carried all my cooking utensils to reduce the quantity of load I would carry after my service year.

So, when I came back I didn't know it was going to be this hard and I could spend this long time.

I resulted in eating out on a regular basis, except when I visit my friends.
Then, I could eat at their house.

I eat mostly at the local restaurant, which isn't bad.
Because their meals were affordable and delicious as well.

Until yesterday, when my friends invited me to sit out in a restaurant.
It was like a farewell get-together because we all will be parting ways, especially leaving the city to elsewhere.

We got to the restaurant,I was hungry and wanted to eat a meal while my other friends advised we eat meat pie.
Which was still expensive.

I went for Jollof rice since I know I won't be eating again after here.

The Jollof rice and chicken cost us nine thousand one hundred naira.

But when the food was brought, it was worth it.
Three pieces of chicken, a cup of salad, a good portion of rice with a table water....not bad.

The food didn't taste nice at all, unlike the local restaurants' own.

I could have said no to this food, if that amount of money is involved.

I was full in no time, which is a plus.
I enjoyed the chicken, they did well with the chicken seasoning and doneness.

The sad part of the whole eating adventure at this fancy restaurant was that I purged a lot when I got home.

I couldn't get a picture of the front of the restaurant, my phone was hanging.

It was a fancy restaurant with expensive food that caused me so much discomfort and frequenting the restroom.

It is a place I would never visit again and I don't think I would like to visit any fancy restaurant for now.
